This Article deals with the Medical Device Registration in Malaysia. The Medical Device Registration Authority of Malaysia (MDA), also known as Medical Device Authority-Regulatory Information Subscription, released a notice on how to stay up to date with the MDA for its most recent regulatory information and operations on December 14, 2022. (MDA-RIS).
The MDA has launched this programme of email notification subscription in an effort to give stakeholders and the general public who sign up for this service the most recent information. This is one of the programmes that MDA is promoting to help people and organizations who value timely and direct access to relevant regulatory information and activities connected to medical devices spread information effectively.
The processes to apply the MDA RIS are as follows for applicants:
- To sign up for a one year subscription to MDA-RIS, Application Form.
- Complete all relevant fields, making sure that all entered data is accurate. Click the submit button to send the Application Form once it has been completed. The MDA will send an invoice to the applicant’s email address provided on the application.
- Once payment has been received and cleared, a confirmation email confirming the subscription’s validity will be sent to the registered email. Real-time transmission of the most recent regulatory information.
- A fee of RM 100 will be applied to each application. The subscription to receive email notifications is good for one year. A reminder email will be sent to the subscriber 30 days before the subscription expires to remind them to renew.
