The announcement from the central government was that the e-Tourist Visa facility has been extended to 37 countries more from last week Friday to enter India, Adding these countries will reach to a total count of 150 countries under the scheme. The list of countries included in the e-Tourist Visa scheme are Albania, Austria, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Botswana, Brunei, Bulgaria, Cape Verde, Comoros, Cote d’lvoire, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Eritrea, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Greece, Guinea, Iceland, Lesotho, Liberia, Madagascar, Malawi, Moldova, Namibia, Romania, San Marino, Senegal, Serbia, Slovakia, South Africa, Swaziland, Switzerland, Tajikistan, Trinidad & Tobago, Zambia and Zimbabwe from the statement will be able to get the E-Tourist Visa to enter into India.
The Extended Visa facility to enter into India has been started on November 27, 2014. To provide the Visa service there has been sixteen Indian airports designated. The electronically issued visa is known as an e-tourist visa, by which the tourists and short travelers can get Indian visa without wasting much of time and easily on-line. Visitors should be having a prior valid Indian visa before travelling to India. “After the launch of this scheme, there is about 7.50 lakh or more visa’s issued. Currently there are approximately 3.500 e-tourist visa’s being granted on daily basis to the foreign nationals,” from the statement.
