To put a stop to the regulatory issues, the Medicines & Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) and Central Drug Standards Controller Organization (CDSCO), the European Medicines Agency (EMA), the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) formed a group with the IPA is organizing a huge non theoretical conference on 23rd February of the year 2016 seeking Excellence and Quality.
Apart from those regulatory bodies, quality associated issues are taken care of by the IPA which is very interested to work with the US FDA to come up with a solution for all the quality related issues. The CEO’s of the major companies entirely support it at this venture, considering the regulators support, proper guidance and periodic dialogue, IPA is more confident about the Indian pharmaceutical industry’s challenge.
The other regulators in South East Asia to be noted are Indonesia National Drug and Food Control (INDFC), Korea Food and Drug Administration (KFDA), Philippines Bureau of Food and Drugs (BFAD), Thailand Food and Drug Administration (Thai FDA).
The proposition of IPA secretary general DG Shah assures the members that the goals are to grow the market share in sync with the goals of regulators who makes sure that the citizens get medicines of good quality. So that working together can result in it.
